Located in Seattle, Washington, Polish Table was founded in 2003 as an online store featuring the exquisite art pottery manufactured in Boleslawiec, Poland, by the Ceramika Artystyczna cooperative. We obtain our Polish pottery from the U.S. authorized distributor.
Polish Table is a one-pony, one-dog show owned and operated by Alexandra and her furry companion, Sasha Bear, who order and photograph the pottery, manage the Web site, process and package orders, drive them to FedEx or the post office, and strive to provide you with excellent customer service.
We are strong proponents of recycling for the environment, and to keep both your costs and our costs down. Polish Table has never increased shipping costs even though our costs have substantially increased for both the goods we receive and for shipping to you. We are listed on the Peanut Hotline created by the Plastic Loose Fill Council and use clean recycled packaging peanuts to carefully package your pottery orders. We encourage our customers to recycle their peanuts. We have a source for recycled bubble wrap and we use recycled boxes or new boxes made of recycled materials. (Gifts are shipped in new boxes only.)
We take pride in providing an excellent hand-crafted product that is beautiful, as well as functional, and are happy to be supportive of talented ceramic artists in a small town in Poland so that they may continue their labor-intensive craft.
