2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
10 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 400°. In a medium-sized bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and optional cinnamon. Add melted butter or margarine and mix well.
With a fork or using your fingers, press the crumb mixture into a 9- or 10-inch pie plate, building up the sides and smoothing out the edges so that the crust is even.
Bake at 400° until crust becomes golden, approximately 10 minutes. Be careful not to overcook; it will continue to cook a bit after you remove it from the oven, but if you leave it in the oven for too long, the crust will start to burn.
